What is an Adept anyways?
No one knows what was going on in their minds when they gave Adepts such a random name, but that's what they are called.
Adepts are the masters of all the avatar elements except for air, but the game only understands fire and ice.
Known for spamming rocks hands to punch stuff from the ground that does fire damage, Adepts are a short to mid range burst mage with great AoEs, revolving around the target to build up bubbles before s̶e̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶l̶d̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶e̶. unleashing colorful spells all over your fps~
To start let's look at the bubble system!
-Some basic alchemist skills will grant you a magical bubble, stacking up to 20.
-After LVL 36 you can learn Elemental/Chemical Bubble Charging. These skills will grant you extra bubbles for elemental skills that don't consume bubbles.
-Using certain skills will eat the bubbles and grow in effect. These can range from buffs, slime's skills, and doubling the skill damage of some skills!
-The bubble system is very important to managing your burst damage but doesn't worry, after you've played alchemist for a few days you'll be a master at it. You should always be casting the skills with the max bubble effect.
Skill Builds
PvE
The reason we go with this build is pretty self-explanatory. We max Slip and slide for utility purposes and take Napalm for that extra damage. Coolant is maxed because it should be thrown first before Super Slop Cocktail since it has a suction effect, trapping the enemies in before the explosion. It also does more damage. The poison skills are taken for the extra bubbles, Toxic spill and Poison pop are not used in PVE due to the bubble consumption.

Main Skill Explanations
Volcano Punch
-Adepts main Bubble factory skill, spam it for free bubbles, super high armor breaking and SA. If you get this on a cooldown plate you can spam this as fast as Frosty Fist for even more bubbles. This skill also increases your other elemental damage skills so its a great combo starter.
-Casting Volcano Punch while holding W will form the 3 fists in a straight line, growing larger in size the further the fist is. It also allows you to hit the target up to 3 times if the target is big enough (2 in pvp if you hit at the right spot). The damage will be lower than the other formations if it only hits once. Casting while holding S will instead form 4 smaller fists in a cone shape in front of you.
Frosty Fist
-Adepts bubble spamming skill and is i-frame for the first cast. The second cast of the skill knocks opponents back quite a distance. You can follow up with Injection as it takes you forward the same range as the second fist pushes back.
Magma Monument
-The upon casting, the skill will knock targets up.
-Most of the skill's damage comes from the explosion after the cast, each dealing damage to those around it. Ideally, you wanna keep them in the middle so all the pillars hit them at once.
-Casting Magma Monument while holding W will form the 4 monuments in front of the caster. Casting while holding S will instead form the monuments in a V shape in front of you.
-You can do some pretty good combos with this skill, such as cast Coolant in the middle or cast Poison pop on it so Poison pop explodes faster.
Ground Zero
-An extremely strong burst skill that leaves a path of fire. You have to cast this with max bubbles all the time because not only does it do more damage but it also has a significant amount of range increase.
-With the Awakening passive the skill will leave explosive spots on the ground continuing dealing damage up to 70% of Ground Zero's damage.
Coolant
-This skill has a suction effect and works with Super Slop Cocktail in a weird way. If you throw Coolant first, the 350% explosion damage when you throw Super Slop Cocktail will multiply the base damage of Coolant and vice versa. Because Coolant traps the targets it is ideal to cast it first so the enemies don't escape.
Arctic Squish
- Max for Awakening passive, you summon 2 meaning you do 2000% every second with them~ this becomes your main DPS skill
Frost Fangs
- Adepts ult~ does decent damage in PvE, for PvP it is ideal to use Toxic Surge unless for utility and catching purposes
-Half of the damage is at the last tick.
Ice beam
-Left click right before the skill ends to summon a giant ball of ice, this has a super long range and a huge explosion AoE. It also travels extremely fast. Not sure if it is a glitch or not but currently the ice bomb disappears mid way and falls on the ground.
-Sometimes you can pretend you're a pokemon when using this. Sometimes.
-Ice beam instant will force all the damage out at once around you. The total damage is the same but crit favours Ice beam due to the multiple hits.
Awakening Skills
Magma Jump
-Jumps in a direction using the WASD keys to control the direction, briefly leaving a trail of fire that damages enemies
-Charged and stored up to 2 times
-I-framed
-Super high SA break
Elemental Flare
-Charges up an attack that has 2 stages, dealing a very high amount of damage at stage 2, however, theres a 40 second cooldown
-Does continues damage while charging
-I-framed from the start of the first attack until the skill explodes
-Pretty animations~
-Eats 9 bubbles O-O holy why you so fat
Elemental Mastery
Takes the higher value between the 2 elemental % values and synchronize it. This means you will only need to stack 1 element and it benefits for both your fire and ice skills. Having that said, you only need to focus getting on element %. Fire and Ice are both options, but do not stack both since the higher % is used for both.
