It would be cool if they could state ahead of time if it's Eye Credit only or not... They keep doing that and it's getting frustrating. Especially when you already bought the costume.
Before they didn't state it had to be credit:

DNP will probably never be apart of any spend event as it is an easily gained currency from simply logging in and collecting it on a capped character. The coupons can be saved up as well so again, don't count on DNP being apart of any spend event.Comment
