Is the guardian sharp talisman upgrade bugged?

Description: The Guardian sharp talisman, how to keep upgrading from +5 to +6 cuz the +6 ask for a +5 buy even you got a +5 , it dont allow you to buy the next upgrade.... can someone help me or tell me the trick..... many thx btw

There's a 3% chance from 5 to 6 so the likelihood of it happening anyway is almost 0.

+6 and +5 are both named as +5. You have to check the stats to see if you have +6 or try to buy the next box that requires a +5 (but it’s actually +6!). If your tali says +6 you actually have +7. Normalizes past +8.

Definitely possible, have seen +6 and +7 already for some people.
