Best mercenaries to use with certain classes?

What mercenary do you use and why? Do you think there are ideal mercenaries for certain classes to use?

Kalahan for my Adept. Reduces like 40% fire or ice for his skills, both of which Adept uses.

If geared and not at stat cap:

your classes (main stat) trainer

INT - Kasarana - +50% int
STR - Varnak - +50% str
AGI - Nerwin - +50% agi

Those should give you the biggest jump in dps, should but if you're geared hella and have capped main stat or near it then you would go a different route - ele stacking or total damage buffing/debuffing etc.

I personally use Goblynn :P, I hate relying on mercs as a crutch, you can't improve if you're being "carried" by your merc :P

My main gm uses argenta, her auto spirit boost makes doing dailies and dungeon grinding much faster. However, I plan on switching her out with Iona (whenever we get him), since he heals & lowers enemies ice resistance, he's the perfect friend for my ice converted gm. ^^
