New DPS Raiding Meta~

Hey guys, I'm a returning player with a few questions to decide on before I return. I would really appreciate you guys answering!~!

Has the game gotten any better under the new company management?
How is the game population like? Still small & dying?
What is the new main raid group party composition? Does Dragoon fit in there for DPS slot?

everyone you ask will have rather polarizing opinions on whether the new company is better or not. while they do listen and read forums, they are either slow or inconstant with fixing things(likely bc of tiny work force or something?) i havent had many problems with the game, so i cannot say much about it, but others have reported having many issues.

i'd say its fairly small. not sure if its dying bc i have met quite a few new players(unsure if they plan on staying long), but the game is definitely not booming with players

its a lot more relaxed than before. typically it follows: 2 healers, 1 tank, 5 DPS.
-the most popular choices for healer slots are saints and physician, however lightbringer can do ok, just doesnt offer as much as the other two healers.
-tanks are either guardian or destroyer. defensio is an odd choice due to being difficult to play, but does offer a cool party fd buff.
-DPS is pretty varied, there are multiple viable dps classes: dragoon is a good choice if packing a fair amount of strength and if you have good timing. literally any dps class can be in a DPS slot, and it will depend on what the party needs from party buffs.

The host is significantly worse, every month the game is plagued with more bugs and more issues.

The game population is slightly higher than it was mid-late 2016, where Nexon abandoned the game. It is not lively, but it's not a complete ghost town anymore.

Dragoons are good in raids, DPS & harmonize are very valuable. Classes are still severely imbalanced and everything is a DPS aside from a saint and guardian, however you won't feel classism as much as before when the game was more lively, simply because those who wish to raid do not have the luxary to pick and choose classes anymore.
