That is what people say all the time. The population has been pretty much identical every cap. Only difference is veterans who you notice quit. No kne notices the new players. Every cap, only the new cap or raid will bring in players. Players tend to quit in between due to lack of content.

If the population was as small as you thought, your items would never sell in the MP because most people have geared their main and alts, yet even the most useless and outdated items still tend to sell out.

Your statement is true. But Nexon days there were two ways to win. One is pay to win or two spend time and effort to win. However since it is legal to buy gold no one sell ET to those " Grind to win". The damage difference is real with a guy with full L grade with Ice queen set and one without. A lot of guys in my guild and I'm sure other guilds quit cause they unable to find an ET Seller.
