DNp and cash shop question

I recently read that DNP points in the cash shop would be lost when the next big update happens. Is this true? cause if it is then i gotta spend mine soon lol

what are some good items to get in the cash shop?

You only lose that dnp if you use the coupon or if the coupon has an expiration date. If not then you can just save them until you want to use them.
