  • Wiped Old Accounts?

So, I am happy that ED announced that they would wipe off untransferred accounts (no offense for those who haven't able to transfer). I just wanted to know if they we're already deleted?

I really want to try these cool names I have saved.

Wiped accounts probably meant about severing links between a Cherry Credits account and the untransferred Dragon Nest SEA account. At least what I've observed since I wasn't able to transfer an account before, yet its characters' data was still in the game(checked via 'Gift' option in Cash Shop where you put the IGN and check its level and class info.)

    Hope that answers your question.

Yes, I've tried that and my character is still alive and I gave up transferring since I forgot my credentials, and that was like way back 40 cap. I really want to wipe it out to get my IGN back and also to try these cool names I've got here.

If it's severing links between CC and ED so that means, I can create a character with my IGN in my untransferred account. I wanted to know if the "severing links" or "wiping out" was executed already T^T

If I understand the DB and Application design of their system, wipeout happens on CC servers only and not on ED servers. If the servers are a one to one copy of CC data back in Aug 2017 then I'd wager that the IGN still exists even with the CC data wipe. The account can't be activated anymore on ED server.

UNLESS, CC data wipe INCLUDES a wipe of unactivated accounts on ED servers. Which is hard to justify a data wipe without a granular control. Simply dropping a Select statement can hit a lot of gray areas (Active and playable accounts suddenly go missing because it was tagged as unregistered by accident)

I asked about this via 1:1

"Note that any implementation is up to EYEdentity Games' discretion and we do not have control over this."
