Party Looting Settings?

Is there a way to setup the looting to be truly individual?
I have a minion and is boosting my friend and I just want it to pick up all the gift badges for me but it is still randoming/dice-rolling even after setting up: Individual Loot and AutoRoll on: Unique and above.

Am I misunderstanding anything from these settings or party looting can never be truly individual?

the loot system is in default round robin.
any bound items that are looted are not part of the loot system and has to be rolled with a number.
Individual loot just means that the person who loots will get the drop.
setting unique and above means that for any item that gets looted above unique would have to be rolled, even if it is not bound.
so if you want the badges, your friend would either have to manually deny the roll or auto deny the roll.
