maybe the wording they chose is hard to understand but the point is, more party member = more enemies' hp but decreasing a little as more party inside
for example, boss base hp = 1b
if you do solo run, you will face boss with 1b hp
run with 2 people in party becoming 1b 800m (x1.8)
    4 party = 2b 800m (x2.8)

hp for each player is just unnecessary explanation to tell that advantages for more party members

maybe because old ver of labyrinth using base 1x/2x/3x/4x that they plainly translated new ver of labyrinth like that

thats just plain analogy based on their thought like all team member have same dps
like, a moonlord with 3m dps and SS with 3m dps, ofc its easier if they team up since they face 1.8x hp monster (meaning 90% each)

but diff case if a moonlord with 3m dps and saint with 1m dps team up fighting 1.8x HP. must be easier with moonlord solo because he do all DPS and saint is just slowing ML in term of clearing

The original plan was that each additional member increases the boss HP proportionally.

For solo, boss has 100% HP. Having 2 players, boss has 200% HP, twice the amount of HP due to twice the number of players entering and so forth.

The labyrinth mechanics listed in the picture introduces a bonus for running with more members, hence "greater HP reduction". This is denoted by the "HP % for each player."

Yup, but the amount of damage each player would have to deal is lowered.
Solo 100%, when running duo each need to deal 90%, trio 80% each and full party 70% each.
Essentially easier in full party if everyone carry their own weight.

Their choice of words for patch notes are always questionable but the chart is understandable so yea.

Why would u go in a pt if can clear it alone for 35 floor above. Why waste 300 ftg to carry lower gear than u on a lower floor. Asking for the whole pt to have similar gears so they contribute equally. Saint seems to be the worst class for healers. At least lf and phy got dps and dispenser. Should put same hp for solo or 4 man. same drop for solo and pt lol.

Some people play together with friends, some don't.

i know but why make it like that. like telling t2+20 to party with t2+20 only. no more high gear play with low gear profit unless for fun.

Going into a PT is much more fun than going solo,
even if we say "all of us must carry our own".

Saint isn't a worst class for healers at all. You can go Full YOLO if you have saint, please don't be harsh to them :<
Phy & LF only have a slight advantage but not the best support class to have in a pt (even if they have same gears).

PS. Never compare support clerics to other classes. Each of those classes can do well in specific areas in my opinion.
PS#2. It's fun to see clerics bouncing in stomps & tanking dmg like 'idgaf to these dmg'. haha
Working...
