I noticed that there's an extra feature on your account in the main website which can opt to link your Facebook or Google account.

What does it do?
Has anyone used it?
Does it give us an option to use an Authenticator? (pin code changes every 6 mins?)

The login system ingame and from your web account is different, it will only add another layer of security for your web account that you need to identify that it is you by logging in to any of your social account such as facebook or Gmail, i recommend not doing so since it won't make a difference, and you want your social media account in private, you can use a business type gmail account for this purpose instead.

Thanks. I was checking on how to improve the security but looks like the scope indeed is only on the web. An authenticator would be much cooler in game.
