  • Unlimited Nests and Revamped Rewards

    1. Nests, particularly the dragon nests, should have unlimited attempts but ONLY reward for the first [X] attempts. Preferably, the first clear should reward while others are available for practice runs. Given the "reward for first clear" only policy, the rewards should be tripled to accommodate for reduced reward runs.

    Reason being:
    A. Players sometimes are unable to run all nests multiple times or don't have time to. This issue becomes worse with multiple characters. For example, doing all runs for one character is 24 Nests (18 ABN/VNM/DAI Norm/HC + 3 DDN + 3 RDN). Some players cannot do 24 runs due to lack of gear or time. Some players end up only doing 1 or so runs of each, missing out on chances for drops to upgrade their gear (esp DDN).

Having the clear once for rewards with unlimited practice runs allows players to maximize their earning/gains without having to miss runs. The unlimited runs allows players to practice said dungeons on their own leisure, especially the HC version of nests, and allows them to not have to worry too much about missing out on weekly runs. Plus what if some players actually enjoy the nest and want to run it many times but are limited by the clears (lest they wish to degrade their armor a lot by leaving early and pay exorbitant repair fees).

    B. Players who regularly player multiple characters are even further limited. If it's 24 runs/character, that's a lot of runs that probably cannot be completed.

    2. The rewards, as many players suggested, should be based on the current levels of the players or scaled better.

Edit: About making money --> the rewards are in the first [X] runs, so you get all your rewards/loot. Any additional runs are for practice. So basically you're doing all your weekly clears early, then have the option to practice rather than having to do 3 clears/week per nest (if you can) and not being able to do it anymore, plus you can run with friends if you want to except you won't be getting anything since you capped out your rewards.

Also removal of the limits on weekly purchases like light cubes from the lament/aura shops.

Any new idea is going to run with its own set of flaws. While I do find the idea of being able to play with friends appealing, it might also serve as a market for people to 'carry' others (as seen in RDN HC parties). Caps/Restrictions are for reason, and any spike in gold (in this case, gold from nests) is likely to come with gold inflation, which can turn off casual players. Of course, this is all by speculation and can work in reverse, I could be wrong.

If anything, it'll be nice if they can bring back the 'practice mode' from 60 cap.

I think what we really need is a variety of nests/dungeons/events to make up for the nest cap, and that's what going to be delivered to us in the upcoming update.

1st suggestion:just add an unlimited practice mode with no reward or bring back memoria, where u actually do different parts of the raid and idont know what youre talking about, doing all my clears on a single day
2nd and 3rd wont bother commenting cuz youre basically repeating 1st

A practice mode is a way better idea than attempts not counting. It would be way to easy to sell carries where the people disconnected with the nest boss having one hit to die.
