Turning off Mechanic Mode while dashing removes the speed buff of dash but retains the animation.

Yup. Just follow these easy steps to repeat the bug.
Open Character Info → View Movement Speed → Turn on Mech Mode → Dash → Turn off Mech Mode while dashing (you'll notice your movement speed returns to normal/walking-speed yet you're still dashing).

It seems to stay in that there till you toggle off the character info tab and it will be back to normal

That doesn't happen for me =(. For me, the character info tab was just to see the movement speed number increase then decrease (showing the speed buff disappearing).
At the end of the video I posted, when I turn off mech mode while dashing (without the character info tab up) you can kinda see the dash slows down a little bit (which is the speed buff being removed). Right at 42-43 seconds in the video. Its hard to see because I'm turning so much ><.
