  • ripper build (pvp)

can someone enlighten me if im doing this right? O___O

the data that i have base my build is currently outdated (that time when mana restriction in ladder)
so i choose shift blow, blade runner, flame locust at level 1 for utility

now ive maxxed a ripper, and focusing on kof, though seldom active

Truth be told, there are some skill points that (in my opinion) were misplaced on less than useful skill.

      - You don't need awakened Shadow Hand (though quite powerful, it's very unlikely that you will be able to get its additional damage. Level 6 is enough for that instant cast time)
      - You don't need maxed Mortal blow (level 11 is enough to obtain the maximum number of usages allowed, since damage growth is mediocre)
      - You don't need Fade (5 seconds of invisibility is not useful enough to warrant 10 skill points).
      - You don't need level 11 Punishment (level 1 is enough to extend combo, and it's damage/cooldown is quite horrible without EX and heraldry plate)
      - You need to get level 11 Rain Drop (for maximum number of usages allowed. Rain Drop is still plenty useful to deal burst damage even for Ripper)

Mandatory heraldries: Artful Chaser aspd, Shift Blow aspd.
Recommended heraldries: Izuna Drop damage, Applause damage
Extra additional heraldries: Swipe aspd, Mortal Blow cooldown, Rain Drop cooldown.

Unleash double/triple hits Applause as much as you can.

thanks for the input mate ^_^ gladly appreciate it

oh, i forgot to tell my current skill accessories.
        artful chaser
        izuna drop
shadow hand (for level 20) (is it true that shadow hands action speed increase on awakening? my ripper guildmate tells me so)
        mortal blow (for level 16)

edit: shadow hand lvl 20 is around 400 % attack
while shift blow lvl 16 is around 447 %

Don't forget that Shift Blow will be your most used skill (due to its super armor break capability and relatively short cooldown).

Shadow Hand action speed increase does not come from awakening, but rather from level 6 additional effect. Other assassins can also benefit from the instant cast as long as they have Shadow Hand at level 6.

yep..im well aware about lvl 6 shadow hand action speed

but what my guildie told me that it has abit faster action speed if awakened than regular shadow hand lvl 6.

          not totally sure though

edited my post (that was mortal blow lvl 16 cuz of skill accessory not shift blow, my shift blow is currently lvl 1, i might change it to 16 though)

though i find fade useful sometimes, in order to hide some terrifying enemy skills

like divine avatar perhaps from paladin? or windwalkers showtime? though just my opinion ^_^

        edit:
i just check that fade is not 10 points anymore, but just a regular 3 points

Fade is very useful in crucial moments in pvp if you're going for ladder and 1v1 Matches.

            Correction :
Get Shadow Hand Awakened (It has increased range, doesn't included in description but i tested it alrd)
also get Fade, u need it on some crucial moment (Like Mercenary's Iron Skin)
For Raindrop , 1 or 6 is enough.

            Also Some suggestion :
In my PVP Build, 3 of EX skills (Shift blow, Flame Locust, Blade Runner) are level 1, and i spend it all on Speedy Cut. Believe it or not, Speedy cut is OP.
