I'm sure it's illegal since they deleted a thread by some guy teaching to create chronicle w/ that method. as for punishment , it remain to be seen if how ED going to punished the abusers.

It's supposed to be punished but I'm betting they will not do anything about it just like how they just let ppl use the RM bug scar-free (as far as I know) months ago.
