We assume retardation and stupidity because there are bigger problems in DN than this 0th world problem.

The problems branch off from the player base's mentality and how the treat the other players within the game. So i small "Petition" just to make everyone's lives that few seconds easier should not get so much hate towards the creator.

Just because there are bigger problems doesn't mean that smaller QoL changes can't be suggested, especially ones that can be rapidly implemented at low cost. When it comes to effort required to change, this is completely trivial and can be implemented immediately without a game patch. Literally a zero billed hours change. Also, small QoL changes often have a far larger impact-to-effort ratio on user experience than big changes.

Even though I myself am a 24 hour time person and think 12 hour time is stupid, I recognize the majority of players aren't me and can see the merit in this change. Why not make it match the standard time format for the target demographic (Americans) of which this game mostly consists of? If the publisher's goal is to increase game activity/sales/player morale or whatever, would it not benefit the publisher to have this feedback? Are the rest of you unable to consider alternative views and make this sort of analysis and instead resort to name calling?

Nothing in the main post said anything about not wanting to do the math for the timezone. It was asked for a 12 hour clock just to make things that little bit easier. I don't see why most players automatically assume retardation and stupidity when it comes to a small petition.

And in my opinion, either 12 or 24 hour, all around is easy to convert to correct timezone for yourselves.
