I wouldn't mind something similar to Zephyra Plains abyss farming, just so long as it's a fun dungeon to speedrun. Zeph was fun to speedrun (still is fun to speedrun with characters I'm leveling, especially when I was leveling my Arch Heretic, and the gold earned from the gold chest on Master isn't too bad when leveling up (though no Golden Goblin makes it less useful)).

Yeah, I kinda have to agree with Range here (can't remember if this is the original one or someone else, but it doesn't matter. I still agree with him). T4 was starting to get to the point where damage and stat difficulty were shooting through the roof in 80 cap, but at least many of the nests/raids created during T4 (two notable personal examples being Titan Nest and Manticore Nest) had some form of difficulty and challenge outside of stats, such as certain mechanics that required you to hit certain points to stop a powerful attack, traps that forced you to pay attention to avoid being stuck in a damage zone, or, my personal favorite, Corpseboogie's Dance Floor (the minigame was a nice twist on the "defeat all enemies" objective that the other rooms had, and the music definitely set the mood for it). You know, the kinds of challenges and mechanics that weren't huge DPS checks (Mach Titan's time bomb COULD be considered a DPS check, but it wasn't that significant of one compared to later caps), and most of which required you to be aware of what's going on and not just blindly DPS'ing the boss.

Most of those mechanics and challenges are absent in T5. Now it's either DPS checks, or situational mechanics that are minor, easily-cleared annoyances at best, completely pointless abilities that make no difference at worst. While it's POSSIBLE to farm the current nests and dungeons, especially after apple farming is changed, the truth of the matter is that there's no fun at all doing it, as none of the current nests offer any real challenge outside of stats. T4 Titan, Manticore, and Archbishop Nests farming? FUN NESTS! SIGN ME UP! T5 nest farming? I'd rather get wrecked by T4 Leviatha again.

So, ultimately, removing apple farming doesn't really do anything to help the situation, since there's nothing interesting about T5 content to encourage running them more than is necessary to clear daily/weekly achievements/gear up for raids.

Actually they did give us an alternative they kinda bring back that treasure chest back in one of the new nest. A friend watching stream now and he confirm this. Zeph abyss version 2.0 is back

Oh, really? I didn't see it in the patch notes. As long as the generation is decent, this might not be so bad.

I grind TD/RW/TT/NM to earn my gold, but that doesn't mean I don't see how this hurts us.

apple farming, bots and gold injection generate most gold. celebrate the fall of apple farming is stupid af when there are still other generation that r not legitimate and when u and so many ppl have benefited from it indirectly

how do u think ppl even buy genesis accessories or lots of fd plates? its either gold buying from bot made gold or mass apple farming or sell idns runs to gold buyers/mass apple farmers or sell valuable items to gold buyer/apple farmers

Vulpix Sorry that you've never actually played the game before. You can make gold fairly easily by grinding dungeons. I got my lgrades to +10/12 without farming apples once, it just takes time and patience - something people in this trash game don't have. While it's true it will "damage the economy", that's only because DN NA players are lazy fat losers that never want to put effort into anything they do.

DUDE... lemme bust your bubble for you. I don't see anyone that is 'upset', most players have become indifferent/ resigned to the foolishness of the management of this game.

YOU, on the other hand, got SO EXCITED that you had to make a gloating post about this on the forum for drama. That's what most people are addressing. Your juvenile and unreasonable jealousy of people who do farm to make gold.

What I stated before stands: we don't all have the selfishness and cunningness to fund ourselves with other people's gold and never return it. or hack 10 fd plates or steal genesis rings, or get ourselves gifted 2000 eggs. Where do you think that gold came from anyway, someone bought it either legitly or illegitly but it has all been farmed some way or the other. Who buys 3d stat fd plates? How do you think gold filters through the server?

I find the idea that an entire server has to make tons of accounts and alt farm something to make gold ludicrous, don't you feel bad that NA is pretty much the only server that has come to this? The Devs will eventually add more ways to get gold.....


But the alt abuse had to go its insane... 450 alts? 600 alts? 1000+ alts? What the hell........ I don't care how much you say it "benefits" the server if the only way to get gold is to farm apples and not actually do content, something is wrong go play Farmville for the same experience.... The top say 20% of the players being able to get gold, while the other 80% do content and make much less gold? Is that fair? This shouldn't be like the 1900's where you had a small margin of people extremely wealthy, and then the rest in poverty.

This is an action Mmo, and no matter how much people start to hate me, I will voice my opinion on how i feel about something, and I strongly hate apple farming... So you guys can hate post about me all you want it won't matter, there are people who share my viewpoints... Eventually maybe others will too, think of it like the Vietnam war for those of you who know your history....

Finally I understand why you guys are upset, and i don't blame you for it, you are losing your precious investments, I would be upset too if I wasn't against the entire idea from the very beginning.... so I am not angry at people like Beef for trash talking me, i really don't care in all honestly if it helps you to vent so be it.

I'd be more inclined to agree with you, but gold generation is really fucking bad. All the players who make gold doing sell runs, it all comes from apple farming and bots, or what you consider blood money. All "legitimate" forms of making gold are funded through blood money as well. If ED gives us an alternative to make gold, as much gold generation as SEA has without apple farming, I'm all for changing the system. As it stands in DN NA, it's too hard to not apple farm.
