I would have to disagree for using Ice because of Frost Tower, it's a weak skill so boosting a weak skill won't help you too much in the end.
Most people are Ice for RDN, for you want to be Ice for that raid.
Til you start stacking a lot of FD, I would suggest light/dark and use the Technique Rings - Gigaton Bomb and Chainsaw Quackum with light/dark on them. You can be Ice/Fire and use the crit+ele tech rings if you wish but I'd still suggest going either light or dark. Until there are changes to where they make one of our strong skills a specific element, you can really be any element.
If you wish to try your hand at RDN, then go Ice as you'll need Ice and can you use Ice everywhere after but I'd still suggest going light or dark.
Light - can be buffed/debuffed the highest atm iirc
Dark - radiants
Ice - for RDN
Fire - 1st IDN boss has zero fire res, useful thereLast edited by ILLbeURdeath; 11-02-2016, 06:01 AM.

ILLbeURdeath l use Fire for IDN because the First boss has low Fire resist and it is cheaper than going Light. My NA Join Date: 9/28/2016 F2P

It does but again, a weak skill. Our "burst" skills are mechanic chainsaw and our ulti and gigaton bomb with chainsaw tower being our most consistent damage dealer ofc. So if they ever were to assign a specific element to one of our burst skills, then and only then would you specifically be an element. For now each element presents their own pro's and con's depending on what you're trying to accomplish.

I say ice conversion is the way to go. With new awakening you can have 3 freeze quackums and chainsaw quackum at the same time. In mm mode you can use frost skill, which is a fair burst at close range and keep throwing chemical grenade every chance you get. The great part about this technique is you can pull off quite a lot of damage without drawing aggro to your character. I only recommend this for large, slow opponents because frost tower has a tendency to miss small moving targets. For small moving targets focus on 3 gatling quackums for the attack spread. When all three frost towers are hitting, you get a very good, constant, dps! Best way to do this is toss out gatling and cannon first then frost then chainsaw. Then toss out frost tower every time it cools down.

you're reviving 1+ year old threads yo
I've since made a GM guide, pretty useful for those wishing to maximize their GM dps. 95 cap hasn't brought many changes so I haven't made any recent changes to it.
If you're a raider, you'll be using 3 ele's worth of gems. If you don't plan on raiding, you can go ice if you want still but frost tower is not a strong skill. You'll see once you get better geared what your burst skills are, they haven't changed. MM chain, Giga, Duck Bomb. The quackums damage is negligible, they are at the bottom of my dps numbers all the time, same with frost tower. I put in my guide what my damage breakdown is, at the end of 93 cap I was hitting 160-180 million DPS in BTG. Since Ray Mech came out, I've been playing her more now, she's much stronger. Hopefully GM's get some love soon, I do miss playing her but she's too weak for end game content with all the summons wiping everywhere :c
