[ A B O U T]
This event is hosted by Navia, Byebi, Mara, and Tea! We’re hoping to bring Dragon Nest artists from all over the world together winter for a gift exchange!
This will be our third time hosting an event like this.

These DN Art Exchanges are exclusively open to artists and writers only. It is based off of the Secret Santa tradition that takes place during December, where members of a group (in this case, the fan artists of DN) join in to be randomly assigned to another member of the group’s wishlist to whom they will anonymously give a gift to! What does that mean? Basically, when you apply to join this event, you will be drawing/writing a gift for another member that is participating. But don’t tell anyone who you are drawing/writing for! In return, your mystery gifter will be making something for you as well. Who draws for whom will remain a secret until we start posting illustrations! [F.A.Q.]
Please read through this before asking us any questions~

Q: Are there any restrictions to joining?

A: We’re looking for artists and writers! Doesn’t matter which server you’re from as long as you can speak English, so please join us!

Q: Do I need a Tumblr account to join?
A: Nope, we’re accepting anyone as long as we can get in contact with you through some sort of private messaging!

Q: What kind of things can I request on my wishlist?
It must be DN related! You can also state whether you’d like full body, chibi, specific poses you had in mind or anything else. We ask that you keep your requests flexible so that your gifter can work around what you want without feeling too restricted. All requests must be PG13. References should not be in marsh/dark lighting.

Q: What should I do? I’m not very good at writing about/drawing x and y, and don’t want to disappoint my recipient.
We have a section in the registration form where we let you inform us of the things you are uncomfortable with drawing!

Q: Is there any kind of quality control for joining?
When registering, there is an option for participants to be matched up with someone of equal skill. RNG will still be primarily doing the match ups, we only step in to adjust arrangements if there is a huge difference between two participants’ skill, and only if they wish for a skill match up.

Q: I need to make a fix on my application/request! How can I do that?
Just privately send us a message and we will correct it for you!

Q: I need to ask my recipient a question! How should I go about this while remaining anonymous?
Contact an admin of this event and send us a message through Tumblr’s instant messaging service or discord! We will relay your message to them.

Q: How will I receive my gift?
We will be queueing up gifts as they come in and they will slowly be posted starting on December 24th! A few will be posted each day (depending on the amount of members we get).
