Stupid Assistant Quest

I'm currently doing a quest called 'Stupid Assistant" and I have to find the trapped assistant in Vulcanus Swamp. I can't find him anywhere. This quest is surely making me feel like the stupid one.

He's in a cage right beside the 2nd portal. He will have a blue quest exclamation point on him and asks you to break the cage.

There is nothing there for me... Maybe I should forfeit the quest and retake it?

Might be a good idea yeah.i Just swung by there on an alt this is what you are looking for if it's not there maybe try getting the quest again.
