I am looking to try this game out, it looks fun

Is it worth it? All I see is what they could do better, don't want to start late to the game of a sinking ship.

I want to insert my own review of DN here, but in the end it's up to you to decide whether or not it's worth playing. The game has a lot of downsides, but also has a lot of good things to it. Just beware that the in-game economy will be changing dramatically in the next couple months with the introduction of the Golden Goblin event (should be here either this month or next), and while the other servers that have the Golden Goblin event don't seem to be as diseased with gold selling bots as we are, so far I haven't heard any mention of the event crashing their economies.

Be sure that as a new player you find a good guild to be in (community matters in this game), and that you don't get overwhelmed by how many OP people there are because they've been playing for so long on one character that they have the best gear in the game. (That's not supposed to sound insulting OP people, I just realized while posting that it could come across that way. >_<).

Hello. Here's a perspective from someone who started around a 3 weeks ago, have joined an active guild, and have thrown down some cash for the game.

The game is somewhat fun, which is why I put down some money. However it feels strangly unstable. Gold sellers are everywhere. It seems to me as if there are more of them online selling and farming gold at any point in time than there are actual people playing the game.

ED's DN reminds me of Nexon's DN but worse. It feels like a dead game. SEA server looks to be a much more attractive server. I want a balance of fun game play and a good amount of people I can experience the game with but it seems like NA isn't quite there in terms of people. NA feels quite neglected in comparison to SEA. Look around the forum and you can get an ideal. SEA is much more active on the forum which doesn't mean more players playing but something to think about.

If you enjoy playing solo in an mmo then this may be your thing. Again, I have joined a guild and we are pretty active. We do nest together and the daily quest but that's really about it. It is rare that you even interact with anyone outside of that which is why the game feels dead to me.

Is this game a sinking ship? In my opinion, yes.
Is it fun? Yes.

Also this game is entirely pay to win. Not that this is a new or a surprise, just wanted to throw in out there for a new comer. I'm not talking $30 a month pay to win. I'm talking $200. Or buy gold like the majority of people and win for a fraction of the price -- according to people I've spoken to.

This sounds kinda bad but overall I do enjoy the game play.
