While i won't agree that they should perish, I would agree to them listening to their community and taking feedback from people who may have been playing MMOs for longer than they have had jobs in this industry. The best and well made games in the work are not successful if they blindly follow the companies interests and ignore the people keeping their income steady. Teachers who respect their students in school get good reviews and the ones who ridicule them get bad reviews and eventually replaced. MMOs work similarly. You wouldn't stick with a game run by a company that doesn't understand and listen their player base.
