How well are classes balanced currently?

I haven't played DN in a long time. When I last played classes like Gear Master/Shooting Star, War Mage, Destroyer/Barbarian, and many others were just awful compared to the good classes at the time. Is it still the case where some classes are severely lacking compared to the good classes? If so can you list some examples?

I tend to prefer melee classes in games so I was thinking about Ruina and Ripper.

Classes with Awakenings > Classes without dps-wise, unless you're a Shinobi. So ya, it's similar as to what it was back then, just in a different form.

When its all said and done, Shinobis will still be best class.

they don't even have their awakenings and still are top tier dps.

People always forget lencea crai. Currently valk is as strong as most awakening class and dragoon pretty much rivals awakening lk. I think people dun really know cos not much lencea mains and only handful can use thier full potential I guess. Shinobi are still better than most awakening class and dark avenger really good dps too. I think the main weaker class rn is silver hunter, machina, ruina, shooting star, crusader. Ruina used to be really op but they got nerfed lots and defensio has been very weak and their tanking is useless compare to what other tanks can offer especially destroyer. umm wat else... GM is not very good atm, I heard they got bug and adept too but adept will have very op awakening soon toward top tier. Shooting star got buff so they are decent and physician is a support class so w/e. I guess AW isn't rly up there atm but not bad and lb has very low dps but imo people underestimate their healings. o well. That's all I guess, I may have missed something but I'm pretty sure thats what its like rn.

Oh yea, and inq got heavily nerfed, even with awakening they are pretty bad rn unfortunately, hopefully devs will buff them. I guess they are in time out for god cross. ;c

Does Dragoon still have hard to see weak points that most people use a mod to see easier?

Awakened LK is pretty much the strongest class in the game rn.

Nupe, it is more clear now. Bfp is much easier to proc and land too but I think lots of dragoon are having hard time with new spinning takedown ex. Also idk how to reply comment sorz.
