why the population of crusader is so low?

Because they require a ton of gold to gear for little results. Other DPS classes are cheaper/ easier to gear and play while also having more damage potential.

Maybe Its just because they are all still thinking the Crusader is a poor dps class without the ability of healing and team protection.

Crusader doesn't become ''good'' until you reach L-grade, you need both High Str and High Int to make it strong. When you create a Crusader you gotta accept that you will be sub-part DPS until you reach L-grades and Genesis. Then you will become OP but some classes are strong already even in Medea Only...
