Is there any way to block the world chat? There's just so much spam going on that I can't see what my friends type in a guild or party, and it gets so annoying to have to scroll all the way up.

No, this is something we need to discuss eyedentity with. I see no reason why we cannot block world chat with all its annoying idiot people on it.That Apple Berry Kid

What they need is real-time moderation, if they allowed us to block "world chat" two things would happen, there would be no more "world chat" and they would take a slight hit in sales due to not selling birds anymore and how birds in packaged deals incentivises people to buy said packages i.e. the altera pack - comes with 10 blue birds.
We just need active moderators that are paid to moderate and only moderate.

I don't personally know anyone who buys Blue Birds. They can easily make up their money through other sales. Like an NX version of the Golden Goose pass. That would probably get more sales than blue birds directly.
In anycase, world chat is somewhat irritating mostly because you have to scroll through 40 comments just to see where you left off your last conversation. I'd suggest full control over the chat filter so you can choose precisely what shows up in your chatbox. Or at least add the feature to a premium service.

^Agreed a bit more, but as far as premium service, it should be something mildly affordable for teens/college students who can't spare but 10-20 dollars a month.

I think $10 a month is pretty reasonable (for a good premium service), although this is coming from an Australian. Even factoring in conversion rates.
Although, I think a more productive topic would be, "what premium service would be worth $10?". I mean, discount on gold fees isn't worth $10 a month. But if it comes bundled with other perks, I'd pay for it.
Edit: Okay, maybe $5 a month is more reasonable, for a good, useful premium service.Last edited by Goodwill; 10-10-2016, 10:22 PM.

Goodwill Yeah, it depends on what the perks are, now if there was a bonus exp rate of maybe like 20% for the entire account, $10 a month would be perfect, along with chat features, etc. but let's not turn this into a pay to play game XD.

A good option would be designing the chat box to have a World Chat/System Message box on top, and a normal/guild/party/channel chat box on the bottom. Prevents world chat from pushing normal conversations out of view, without negatively affecting bluebird sales.
In fact, this could be expanded upon, and they could use it to come up with more viable CS items that don't directly damage game balance.- Add additional filtering options to world chat: World Trade, World Party, World Guild, World Tourney, World Chat. The top window can be set to selectively display these, with the stipulation that at least one "World" option must be enabled.
- Add new birds:
- Red Bird: World Trade.
- Indigo Bird: World Party.
- Green Bird: World Guild.
- Orange Bird: World Tourney.
- World Chat can contain any message. However, they won't be visible in specialised channels, encouraging people to buy specific birds for specific tasks.
- World Trade contains marketing messages. Each message can be tagged as either a "Buying", "Selling", or "Trading" message, which will appear at the start; these should be self-explanatory.
- World Party contains party & run messages, and is used for party leaders/members looking for people for runs and/or individuals looking to join a party. Each message can be tagged as "Looking for X" or "X Looking to Join"; the bird's user selects one or more classes (including base classes, second classes, third classes, and "Any"), which replace the "X".
- World Guild contains guild messages, and is used by guild leaders/members looking for recruits and/or people looking to join a guild. It follows the same rules as "World Party".
- World Tourney is the PvP channel. Each message can be tagged as "Looking for Matchup" (for matches), "Looking for Players" (for Wipeout & group PvP modes), "Congrats", and "Gloating"; these should be self-explanatory.
