Is it intentional? But why??

Hi I'm kinda a newbie but I'm an old player from 32cap(so outdated lel)

And here I just noticed these elemental jades especially the Light attribute have negative stats which I am worried...

Then saints have some skills that the damage will increase by having light attribute right? but with these items they make my light attribute go negative which might affect my damage (I have never observed it experimentally so I can't back up my statement)

Is this intentional? or elemental damage are just a decoration or no use?(as I have read from other discussion before)

To put it simply, Elemental Conversion Jade (Lightning, Abyss, Heatwave, Iceberg) are used to change non-elemental skills into light/dark/fire/ice elemental.

Why should anyone use it?Because it allows non-elemental class to benefit from elemental attack modifier and elemental resistance debuff, further amplifying their damage.
