  • Greetings, new player here with some queries

Hello everyone I am so happy that I am able to play Dragon Nest with the removable of IP block. I am sorry if english is not adequate. I have few questions if anyone would help?

i reach cap of 93 and am wondering what do i proceed forward from here? the amount of things to do is overwhelming.

    1. How or what is best way to obtain gold? I do not have too much. To start obtaining some is something I would like to become stronger.

    2. Is it necessary to spend money to advance in equipment? I do not make too much with job. And not much room for too many extra expenses. That is why I choose free to play game.

    3. Where do I start with nests? From top to bottom on list? I am unsure of how strong you need to be for each one. Most same level except few

    4. Is Raven an adequate class? I chose at start one that looks cool to me, but unsure.

    5. What do players do when not doing nests? Is there more for game in other areas? Are there crafting jobs?

thank you for your time in answers.

1 - for a beginner such as yourself to this server, I strongly recommend you do your main story quests and side quests to build up your gold supply. When you get stronger, you can dungeon grind and do nests etc for drops/gold/etc. (there are more advanced ways of making gold too)

2 - you do not have to spend any real money to progress in this game, however playing f2p takes longer to progress. If you got the patience then you can do all that is needed to succeed without putting a single dime in the game. I will however remind you that putting some money, however much you can afford, doesn't have to be much into buying something for yourself from the cash shop to help support the game since it does cost money to keep any game running. I recommend if you chose to support the game with money, just buy a costume for your main/s .

3 - if you can do level 93 abyss dungeons, you can do ABN/Mant/Daid abyss+hc and TKN abyss runs without too much trouble. RDN, DDN and IDN have certain gear requirements to give yourself the best chance at clearing said nest.

RDN is easier to gear for with the 93 gear out now, 90k+ ice converted is plenty for this nest.
DDN is the same thing but you can be any ele now, 90k+ ele converted dam in town.
IDN has more harsh requirements unless you're being carried, most teams will want 120k+ minimally from DPS characters.

    RDN is a 80 nest
    ABN/Mant/Daid/DDN/IDN are all 90 nests
    TKN is a 93 nest

4 - Ravens are just fine , even without awakenings they do good damage.

5 - there is much to do in DN: dung grinding, nest grinding, pvp, side dungs/quests, merching, crafting, afk'ing even :P. The more characters you have, the more stuff you will have to do but soon there will be an abundant of content for us all to do (hopefully). There are also communities and other things DN players do when they're not playing, some draw/create art for the game etc.

Your welcome and good luck and have fun with the game

Your post covered pretty much there is to cover, albeit what was just quoted. I would have to disagree that there's lots to do in DN considering that for the past few caps, more content has been taken out than added (arguably).

Just going to warn OP that the game may start to become very mundane once you hit cap. I would suggest using your time in the game to make friends, join an active and social guild if you hope to stay in this game for a long period of time.

If you play only one character then yeah, you will be done with everything (provided you're geared/prepared to do everything) in one to two days depending on how many hours you play each day. However, just as I learned a couple caps ago, it's best to have multiple (semi) geared characters to run content on for drops/mats/gold/etc. As I said, if you have multiple characters you'll have more stuff to do but soon (with more 93 content coming soon, hopefully) we very well could have TOO much content to do (crossing fingers)

But yeah, after months of doing the same thing on one toon, you're going to want to shoot yourself in the head lol :P (I quit in 80 cap cuz of this, one toon, got nerfed to oblivion, lost interest in game at the time)

I hope you're right. We use to have the Furious Mezzanine, Dread Gazebo, all of the Nests and Raids, and I few other things I can't remember off the top of my head. Hopefully they will bring back content first, and then add "more" content.
    Working...
