I used to play this game a lot a few years ago and I always enjoyed this game but all of my friends at the time never played so I never stuck with it.. I noticed someone plaything this game on steam a few days ago and I am wondering what the player base is like. Is the game alive or dead, does it get maintained ect.. I would like to play again but I would not like to take the time to level again if the game isn't played or upated.

We still get patches, yes we are maintained to the degree ED has always maintained us (incredibly lackluster if I'm honest).
Wouldn't say it's dead but it isn't exactly crawling with new players either.
We do have a small dedicated amount of players though. -
And I'd be happy to lend a hand if you decide to return
