Any ideas on the best way/ fastest way to get garnet?

mentoring, thats pretty much it. other ways are slower

Running a lot merc missions helps too but yeah mentoring is the fastest way atm.

Mentoring is fast and more worth but only if you take up all their mentor slots with your chars, another easy way to get them is by doing quests on a cap character. p.s. if you cant see quests hit "u" and uncheck hide quest marker
