1. Get Desirous Weapons then start saving for Nightmare Weapons. Regular Theano gear is fine just make sure you get it to +8 - +10

2. You do Nightmare Abyss with a party of 4. The teleport is at the Terminus Gateway under "Nightmare Dungeon Lobby" You get Nightmare Points to spend at Priestess of Darkness Mocha. Desirous weapon is 7.2k points + 30g each main/off-hand. Nightmare weapon is 66k points each for main/off-hand.

1. Base stats alone are about roughly 60% increase in damage with some extra damage for enhancement values. Nightmare has set effects where as Desirous does not. 2 Piece set = 630 Phys/Mag + 15750 Critical Damage.

2. If you do it in a team of 4, roughly about 3.5k per run I'd say... It's hard to pinpoint, because the amount you get is based on you being alive and getting the killing blows for monsters (bosses should reward everyone in the party as long as they are within vicinity). Also, if you complete the random events if they appear, that contributes a good amount. Events + Boss Rush occurring will significantly increase the amount of points you get by 500 per boss and 100-500ish for event.

3. You should be fine, your gear is sufficient enough. If you've ever done Nightmare Abyss before it changed to 2 stages. Think of the difficulty as Stage 3 & 4 only now. So not really that hard. Good luck!

The difference between theonos and desirous are pretty small. Just extract the desirous and go for nightmare/ultimates, use a 90 coma unique in between if one conveniently drops because it takes 10 weeks of nightmares to get a weapon.

Or buy ultimate which ranges from 3-7k each if you don't want to wait for nightmares (but have to wait until someone is selling an ultimate)
