List of efficient farmers (non-apples)

I had started playing DN with a friend a week after the reopening date. I have found that I farm far less efficiently (solo) as my overall damage is lower despite me being slightly more geared. My friend can consistently one shot most monsters in red waste while I cannot.

After some discussion with guild mates it has come to my attention that similar to Crusaders, Lunar Knights require a high gear requirement in order to do meaningful damage/be OP.

I was wondering what the community's opinion was on potential classes I could try out that doesn't require high-end gears in order to farm more efficiently than my Lunar Knight, especially if they have a lot of aoe skills.

you should be deleting everything with on an lk...although other classes could be windwalker, shooting star (maybe gm), raven, inquisitor, sorcs that aren't cm

but really I have to see what your lk has that makes it inefficient

I'm using +11 - 12 (primary) Theano weapons. All my gems are +6-7 in the 90-93 range. I have 2 crit wise gems and the rest are hp. I am in the process of stacking dark but am only able to have 1 dark gem to supplement the conversion (for a total of 2 dark gems).

The primary issue with my runs is the only time I can consistently one shot trash mobs is if I crit which I don't consistently do. My crit rate is around 35% so it's a hit or miss. Sure I can try investing into 3rd stat crit/wind plates but if I had the resources to do that I wouldn't be asking this question. My magic attack is very close to 120k (without flags). Based on my discussion of my gear above I could be stacking more int crit gems but that would significantly lower my hp (1.8m) which helps a lot in doing idn content. I'd prefer not to constantly switch out gems because well... gold.

If I solo red waste abyss it takes me around 3-3.5 minutes to clear compared to the 2-2.5 minute clears from my guild mates but are rocking IDN U or L grade RDN.

In terms of damage output , is it inferior to LK assuming similar gear? In my experience HMS fairs well in dungeons but it's the inconsistency in one-shotting monsters that bother me.

I'll probably try Raven as Tian suggested.

Well there you go u only have 1/3 dark gems you're losing 16% dmg LOL

Also your clear time seems normal with the gear you have, I don't think you'll get fast t with a different class, ravendoes less dmg than lk anyway

If you wanna stack more crit gems enhance ur armor to +10 for hp

Not having full dark gems does hurt your damage but imo it's still worth going full out on crit gems and <1m hp since you don't necessarily need vit outside a few weekly nests.

If you still dont want to swap the gems you should get a +0 epic with a crit gem so you don't have to spend gold on transferring. Less hp/attack from enhanced armor but it should be negligible for red waste.

farming chronicles characters and selling the slots is a good way to farm.

can be any class really. get to 80 sell the slots and move on to the next character.

Stop promoting this, it is just like scamming, you get your gold but you never level your character.

some classes have bugged skills that do no dmg (hms instant)

anyway would recommend burst dpser (sorcs, inquis) since their cds come up as you run from area to area. Well lk is pretty good too so maybe you just need practice

farming dungeons right now is like going on the street and picking up change on the ground.

just go for apple farming. only thing in this game that has a good return on your time invested.

This sounds like bandwagoning to me tbh, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Warden and LK seem very similar in this regard as they are both 1:1 int classes and both lack crit (without actively building it or using RDNL). Most wardens (and I assume LKs) that use level 93 gear have all crit + wise gems but still have only around 50% crit. The crit cap for 93 is quite insane (320k or something). I would have to guess that your friend is playing an agi class that has high crit (WW or Raven etc) or an op class.
If you want LK to be over powered you have to understand how to gear it and not just follow the bandwagon. Hope this helps.

If it matters, I always do my pyromancers dailies with just accs + weapons and no one notices the damage difference.. So I would highly suggest pyromancer because they have burning hand to help do that damage + aoe

and if you're wondering why I am naked its cause I always have my gear on my saint for IDN runs :')

If you're looking for a class to quickly clear dungeons to grind out gold/mats I'd personally recommend a Destroyer. thanks to all the self buffs they don't need a lot of gear to do more than enough damage to wipe out each room of any dungeon, and with maelstrom howl awakening you have a 5 second CD nuke that hits 360 degrees and covers almost every room in its entirety to clean house fast.

Whether I am bandwagoning or not is irrelevant to the topic. I don't understand the reason why people feel the need to criticize other people for bandwagoning; people are entitled to the play the game however they want to and if they want to play a class that's considered high tier within the current meta it's their choice. I just looked at this as an opportunity to see what I can do differently including which classes to try out to see if I like their play style any better. A class that can also do content efficiently just happens to be significant in my decision making. I don't have the time to spend copious amounts of hours to play the game, so why is it so bad that I want to play a class that could potentially save me time in the long run and allow me to explore other content?

Earlier in the week someone was criticizing me for asking about selling jellies as a potential way to make gold. I found it fairly annoying how elitist the person was because the player was unemployed and playing Dragon Nest on a full time basis. It's like they're forgetting that players like me help to keep the game running so that they can continue to no-life the game.

But yeah, I've been trying to understand the LK class more but the guides and discussions on the forums haven't given me enough leads to experiment with so I'm trying to do more research first, including what other classes I could try.
