so, how do people make gold without getting lucky or farming apples?

New player that's been playing since post transfer....

Just reached the cap recently since I've been somewhat busy the past month so was a bit slow to get there. Tried grinding endgame dungeons for a few hours. Got a few hundred raw gold in total, trash cooking items, a few garnets, and armor and weapons that aren't even worth the stamp cost.

Did a lot of the Nests, but again only a handful of things worth selling and the few plates I got I didn't get lucky enough on the crafts. I just don't get what I'm supposed to do? I mostly have theano gear +10 right now, but I'd like to upgrade some things but lots of stuff seems really expensive considering the stats you get. Want to try buying an ultimate weapon but those go for 3k+ or even way higher.

Do I just have to grind 8 hours a day or get super lucky just to afford something? Felt like I barely got anything from weekly tasks/nests and all the dungeon grinding I did considering the time I put in. I don't understand how some people have over 100k gold or got crazy upgraded stats if this is what the endgame is like.

From what I read farming apples on multiple characters is the go to thing? Like I read about it and it sounds super boring even if it makes a lot of gold. Does basically everyone do this to afford anything of worth in the game? That can't be real.

personally I buy jellies from the dragon vault and sell them for lots of gold.

There's no real way to make 10k in just one day without being lucky.
Farm red waste abyss, sell seals, armor and garnets. Do hero battlefield sell the technique pieces. Do erosion sell the epic grade sparks. Do circus and exchange the tickets for whatever gem is worth at the moment. Do pvp and exchange the medals for plate pouches or gems.
All these things I mentioned are special dungeons in which you don't need to be geared to complete. Once you have enough gear you can start doing tkn hc, idn and rdn, that's why a good guild is recommended, try them out and see which one is the most active one in the hours you can play the game.

I hate to say it but farming apple is another way but that's not the way you are supposed to play the game. You are supposed to have fun not to be a slave of the game economy.

^^ this, will add that the merc exploration(missions) still make a decent amount of gold if you have a small army of them.

Also, OP - research mat prices and grind for those in demand and worth grinding for. For example: sometimes dragon gem mats are worth good gold, sometimes the 93 gem/jade mat can sell for 20-30 gold each, you can get those doing abyss dungs and nests. Sometimes stamps are over 10 gold each, farm those ect. Until you get some gold making practices in place OP, grind what's worth farming at that time, study the market .

Dedicate more time into the game. Dont expect things to come to you. I make 2000 gold per week~ and thats fine with me. Maybe ill craft or get something good but i never rely on luck to make gold.
