Well in order for it to be a real rating u kinda have to assume they are being played optimally otherwise u get bad results. It's not the actual class dps being less its the player not doing well.
After LK's halfmoon cd nerf, Glads spammable parry will still be a way to easily out dps LKs, and while side dodge will be out for reducing LD cd, you will still be able to do it once 60% hp with both hyper drive and coup.

It's more of an all-purpose realistic rating for the NA server. There are maybe a handful of Gladiators, out of many, that fit the optimal description. I often try not to think most optimal, but most realistic. With the same amount of funding and equips, my Lunar Knight generally did 1.5x more than my Gladiator did. I put more funding and honed my Gladiator skills a bit more, but I often find myself cutting it close. I think Lunar Knights are really much safer, and easier to optimize, which makes it #1 in my tier list. If you're a good gladiator, Gladiators are #1 warrior, but that's the reason for a 1.5 rating, not a number 2.
