  • Inquisitor Vs Crusader - Lightning And Thunder

I'm thinking about a cleric DPS class, specifically Inquisitor and Crusader Awakened, since Guardian and Saint are geared towards support in general.

My questions are simple, but I'd like your opinion to add to knowledge/final decision.

    Pros vs. Cons?
Does one excel at the other?
    Best investment?
    Acceptance in raids...

I've seen Cruzado good, but is the investment really worth it...? Since you could invest less and leave an Inquisitor equal/better ...

Remember, I'm aiming for the best DPS (rotations, burst, damage, debuff)

    Thank you for your opinion!

Aelphaeis Said something about Inquisitors being glitched and their DPS basically being halved because of it. ED isn't really known for fixing glitches, so I'd be more inclined to go Crusader, but that's just my perspective.

      Going to elaborate on this.
Inquisitor has a bug with inquisition that allows inquisition to activate off of itself. This actually increases their damage significantly in trivial situations; however, in raid like content where lagging significantly can cost a player their life its very undesirable despite the damage it could yield. As a result inquisitors will be forced to play using sub optimal damage rotations which in turn will lower their damage.

Furthermore, the bug is fixed in KDN. I've actually developed a play style that should increase our bring our post awakening damage to roughly 170% of what it is now. So if you are dealing 60m DPS now you should be dealing around 105m after. I haven't gotten the bug once while using this play style but I want to wait until after awakenings are released before I start giving advice about it.

the thing is a crusader with IDNL or something like that is basically god while one with theano is a scrub while inquis is okay with theano so mostly depends on your gearing

      Thanks for the contribuition!

I would like to go deeper into the discussion, if I may...
Did you say Inquisitors will be risky in IDN because of the 2nd boss?

It can still perform a good DPS in the 1st and 3rd stage without any problems right?

      My biggest concern is...

Crusader is a very cost-effective class, it would only be effective with a full L-Grade +10/12. It is very difficult to achieve good STR / INT / CRIT / Light and HP using other equipment.
Inquisitor has a better cost benefit at my sight, and at first it would be more effective than a crusader.

I moved to this server shortly, starting from the bottom ... L-Grid will take a while.

PS: My crusader on the server in Europe.

The bug can happen on any target so your damage takes a hit regardless of the enemy.

I can't speak for crusaders, I'm not qualified as I only play the class casually.

Yes, but is he only dangerous in the 2nd correct boss? Because of Reflection, right?

About equipment ... do you state what for 3rd in plates? Crit x Int ... (Thinking about RDN-L ... how can I increase my crit)

Depends if you have the gold. As you stated, an average geared sader doesn't really do much

Well if you already play a sader and know the class then play sader. If you want to change to inquis for a fresh experience then play inquis. Every class takes a shetton of funding to do dmg anyway and any savings you get from playing a "cheap" class disappear the more you invest in a char.

Crusader is pretty hard to gear. For me, you need L-grade gears for crusader otherwise the damage will not be noticeable. This might change after awakening skills but this is what I believe so far.
