I wish it was that simple but commonly if something such as boycotting were to happen the possible result is the termination of DN NA however...Soul Worker does look promising however they too run on a power system which is something.
In the end we can agree DN is not as hype however different people find only specific entertainment from this game rather the entire game. I'm not entirely sure myself if the Devs are even working on making the game enjoyable rather than creating more end game content which is agonizing since leveling up is quite horrendous not to mention there aren't any nests along the way, just shitty low level non rewarding dungeons.
Your theory of the five guilds is horrifyingly true. However even in those guilds Leaders, Officers, Veterans, and Members are all different and no one is equal even in the same guild. Every man for themselves. I came with a theory that DN is a game where the rich is likely to stay rich and get richer while the others would have to grind, rely on luck, or do something that is not particularly playing the game, apple farming, gold buying. However that seems to be the only choice due to the fact that it is impossible to grind gold now.

For some reason they take away what we like doing most and the things we do to kill time. They add shitty things like citadel sorry for those who like it but, you like it probably because you have yet to do Mezz. I believe Dragon nest is forcing us to do the things that they want and I'm sure they are turning blind eyes because we dislike it. I mean bruh IDN HC cleared instantly and a few others followed after. They cannot expect the inexperienced to just magically do the same. Most people even touch main quest so again likely to do that.
A whole new topic rose from this but before I restate what I want, I would like to claim that DN does not care. They force content for us to do rather than the content we loved doing.

it's pretty sad that people have to beg for gold grinding in an MMO. like almost every other MMO doesnt have that kind of problem. Why is Dragon Nest so bad about it?
these drop rate events are just temporary bandaid solutions.

The root of the problem is that we have less than half the gold generation other severs such as SEA or Asians servers have, but the costs of gold sinks reflect the economies of those specific servers. We have access to less markets and have random gold sinks here and there as well.
Removing the gold sinks, lowering enhancement costs, or even adding in features would greatly help gold generations for the population. Gold Injection to the rates of the Asian/SEA servers works as well. At the core of it, while they showed small amounts of improvement weeks ago, it's dwindled down to the same-old same-old again.
Gold generation in Dragon Nest right now, for anyone not in the "Elite" tier is working in an Asian sweat factory trying to live in the Americas.Dragoon

Another trash tier thread. This game has one of the worst designs for grinding. It is a tedious yet, braindead method of playing that was intended for casual filth that can not complete genuine content yet. For those who consider themselves "veterans", take one fine look at the roots of the game and what they have devolved into. This is truly an unfortunate turn of events and circlejerking ways to scrape change together as if you were a bunch of homeless cum bubbles on a daily basis is an eyesore.
This server and game clearly needs:
Genuinely demanding content that does not needlessly telegraph or hold your hand
More aggressive gold injections to stimulate the economy and counter undercutting
Better incentive for players to engage in the game and less bribing with free cash shop charades
Stop treating class balances as though they are legitimate content. A new class is content, a new nest is content. A rework on an already existing class is not content, it is in line with bugs and fixes.
Until Korea breaks this series of cycles, the game will never experience positive change.
These new players from 80 cap+ have no idea what they're even talking about on this forum. I see nothing but ineffective ideas that take no part in the bigger picture.
