Help With Enhanced Dragon Gem?

Hi all,

I'm trying to equip an elemental conversion gem to my primary weapon but it isn't working. Not really sure why, everything seems to be right. Level of both the gem and the weapon are 93. Maybe you can figure it out? It's probably something really obvious. Images of the gem, weapon, and error message are attached. Thanks in advance.

Any class initially with elemental attack cannot use any conversion gem.
Chaos Mage is Dark atk in any way. That's why.

Sorcs have to put the conversion gem on the orb/book/puppet, and only war mages should convert.

lmao yeah the offhand is universal to all specs like shield for all clerics, quiver for all archers, so sorc's offhand is actually the staff and the mainhand is the orb/book/puppet
