Farming is not working as intended

I just bought 300 computers to adapt to this new apple farming change. Needless to say I am in debt and my electricity bill has skyrocketed. The workload on the farms has become too intense and I demand Eyedentity revert this new update immediately! I have no time to spend with my family and my children are starving because my wife and I are too busy making sure all of our farmers are up and working in the fields.

LMAO, so the solution that this Gladiator guy is giving, is that time will only pass on crops only IF we are actually logged in and IN THE FARM? Cmon, nobody can be that stupid to be saying that. So what, we are supposed to spend all the time in farm and not doing any content? gz

TBH thats not what I meant, just that they should put some sort of limit.
My ideas are
( Either one )

1. You have to be logged into DN for it to grow
2. You have to water your plants every few hours
3. You have 1 maximum plant per account.

I have several friends who feel the same way and believe that apple farming makes new players look at it and think that they are unable to catch up, either giving us gold events to the point of apple farming being invalid and not viable, or again giving us gold events and doing something to prevent abuse through tons of alts.

I get that everyone would want to rush quick to defend their investments, but again this is my opinion and my suggestion to the GM's on how i think they should better the game, you guys must be crazy if you do not think everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Wasn't tons of people crying their face off because there was no tradeable EC? We should all just move on to other problems within the game, with one being mass amounts of gold generation is only present for apple farmers, people with luck, and people who sell runs.

imma repeat this again; its more worth to be grinding than to be making lv24 if u only have 1 pc unless theres a boosting event just like now, stafa is the perfect example of this case, he makes gold without apple farming and just grind all day.

oh btw, if u dont have the time to be grinding than u wont have the time to be making lv24 either tbh, ofc 1 a day is great, but at this point ud make (again) more gold grinding.

that said pick ur own weapon; idn hc sell, apple farming, grinding, market, etc than ull make gold.

players have been creating thousands of level 24 alt characters to apple farm
Making them actually NEED to be logged in would fix their gold farming / character abuse
This gives them an unfair advantage over the other players, allowing them to generate alot of gold without even playing the game or doing any content
and this is how the BOTS are getting their gold I have SEEN them in the apple field farming
Keeping this would also make players actually have to LOG IN and play the game to get rewards I think thats fair

Apple farming is barely even worth it with the goldbuyer inflation (must be convenient crafting a bunch of fd crests and selling to them 120k a pop).

The pay2win hurts new players more than anything when ec items can easily be 2/3 your dps

Well, for most people it's apple farming or grinding... which are essentially the same thing, the former being more mind numbing than the latter. Honestly, it's also easy just spamming birds to buy mentor spots. Literally hundred gold profit plus a shard of will.

Wait... what? Are you actually serious? Apple farming isn't unfair for new players, it's actually probably the most fair thing there is. It doesn't require any existing gear to level apple alts, whereas running nests/selling raid clears all take some degree of gear. All apple farming takes is commitment. Anyone that wants to apple farm can start apple farming, anyone who has alts took the time to level alts. Just because some people don't want to apple farm doesn't make it unfair. Not farming is a choice, just like not grinding dungeons, and the result is getting less gold.

Does anyone care that our server and only our server is dependent on apple farming? Yes that's right, only our server is dependent on it, think about that.

Next is botted gold, p2w...

Also, every other server has the same fees and same enhancement fees but every other server has more gold in it's economy thus more trading and L's aren't so out of reach with respect to our low'ish gold levels. Should also be noted, every other servers quests/dailies/dungeons/nests and raids - that's right ALL of that on EVERY other server gives/drops more gold then ours. We have a gimped server and it's sad most ignore these facts for I believe they are the root of the problem.

Every other server has farming too, it's just that doing actual content yields more gold then apple farming. Think about it...
