Well said, some of the players who've only played a few years (but claim are the oldest) are the most cancerous, so watch out for those, and you will earn the achievement of not contracting cancer

If you do make friends in this game, consider them your friends if they really are friends, after a long period of time if they prove as being such.
If not, the community is actually pretty cancerous in general, BUT, yes, you will find some pretty awesome people aside from the bad ones, this I am very sure about.

Alright then to answer your question; this game is updated once a month, and those updates are poorly done. They replace things but don't update descriptions or completely bug them. Either way, the tooltips are older than half the playerbase, so don't expect them to be accurate.

you can get an achievement for filling up your friend list but thats it. the benefits is mostly just knowing if someone is online
