GM Treatment in the Community

Hi guys.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I actively stay out of the forums. On that note, I'm here right now. I'm honestly kinda amazed, and disappointed in our community. I know most of you probably don't remember much about GlassRobot or Tekonos, or any of the GMs from a long while ago, but they definitely weren't involved like DENTITY and SMILE are. I can't believe you guys are so desperate that you beg and blame the GMs that we have now. Has our community fallen so far, that they expect free stuff for every tiny little detail? I honestly find it kinda pathetic how people beg for buff from the GMs, or even ask for it randomly hoping they are hiding online somewhere. The GMs that you guys actually interact with are not the game developers, they are not the programmers, they are not the ones who run all the patches, they are not the person causing any of the problems. They are basically community managers. What they do is talk to the community, and send relevant feedback up the chain. That does not mean that you have the right to blame them for anything, nor to make fun of them, or in general be rude to them. These guys are actively trying to help make the game better for all of us, so stop being disrespectful.

Agreed, I dont know why people are bitching to the gm's and saying they dont care about this game. Them providing some feedback on things is enough proof that they do care and they are trying their best.

need to get it out there that these guys. by the information that we do currently possess and data we've obtained should be able to work out that what Salvani is saying here/has said is in fact true.

i have had a Kali main and another friend who which told me some of the differences between the GM's as well as what i've observed such as [GM] Smile & Dentity do in fact have their own personal player accounts and that actually Smile was pretty good in the Ice Dragon Nest event in which you got the chance to play/raid with them.

also shout outs to Brook/Bones Brook . i hope he doesn't mind nor the GM's for me posting this, but sometimes or lately GM Dentity has been seen puging (P.U.G. = pick up group) and here's a shot of it

also if you aren't a flithy casual you'll know that Smile and Dentity are kinda sick of the begging and hate so they kinda take it out on you guys OR just because gamers are troll like anyways and they doing it for fun hehe. by renaming their buff partys with puns so it makes it harder for people hunting down the GM's name in the party display for stone buffs.

another topic but it's sad that stone buffers. have gone extinct in NA altogether it seems. :L
so without the GM's it's unlikely we'll be seeing them again for a LONG time till another either Hero emerges or just another stinky casual who rather not buff cuz it 'ain't worth their time'

anywho.

we as a community should be shaping up to be fit and worthy of some of the events or benefits that these GM's can provide to us.

although there's a LOT of miscommunication of what those things are as of now (unsure tbh) , but pure intended negative thoughts and stuff like that without context nor the intention of bringing about some.. well beneficial results for either one or many players is just unproductive.

Honestly just give the gm power to temporary ban ppl
most forums don't tolerate trolling behavior

altho it's easy to make new forum accounts since they aren't linked to game accounts this might be why trolling is so prevalent

Lmao that's why trolls get temporary bans at first, then longer bans if they continue, cause we all make mistakes, there's nothing wrong with getting banned unless its so toxic it becomes permanent

@[GM] DENTITY Can I get help with my issue before I make up my mind and completely quit NA? I have nothing to lose at this point.

I've told Dean about it, Dean tells me to submit a ticket to Cherry because they're on vacation after the first ticket gets closed after like a month of waiting.

I wait until Cherry decides to look at my 2nd ticket, which they close for telling me the item is no longer available, there is no common sense, I know that as well that's why I'm submitting a ticket to get the issue resolved for the item I never received.

I messaged Dean about the difficulty with Cherry ticketing, it's probably been a week now and no response now.

I messaged you afterwards, and I get no response, at Nexon we at least had a working ticketing system.

Cherry tickets are a joke, and it seems I can't get ahold of GM's as well...

None of us have also gotten any attendance rewards from the bugged month either...

If you messaged me on forums, my forum account couldn't respond to private messages, nor send private messages, until yesterday when it got fixed finally, so I apologize for not responding. However, if the ticket issue was really that bad, you should have tried approaching me in game, as I am usually pretty prompt with helping people in there.

If you did approach me in game and I said that I reported the issues/tickets, it means that I reported the issue and it's no longer in my hands to fix - I'm unable to actually go and do anything about it at that point. The same goes for attendance rewards. I don't have the power to make ED give you compensation.

Please feel free to re-send your ticket number and IGN to my forum account, as I will be able to respond now, but the best I can do is report the issue to the team, and then wait it out. If you already did, then I have most certainly already reported the issue (without replying to you because I was unable to, but I reported it), but the ticket has gone unnoticed. I can try to re-escalate it if you're willing to be a bit more patient, but will need that ticket number and IGN again.

P.S. If you want help and we aren't responding, it's probably because we either can't or missed it, not because we're intentionally ignoring you. Threatening to quit doesn't do anyone any good here. If a situation like that arises, contact a GM in game. I can't speak for the others but barring special circumstances, I'm online every day for several hours.

Honestly I just really like the GMs here because their humor is just better and I actually see them PvP sometimes. I've run into Ignacio twice now.

With Nexon the most interaction I've had with the GMs was them telling me to shut up and banning me for two weeks because my IGN was bad, every ticket I ever had not only wasn't answered, I didn't even get the freaking "ticket sent!" notification, so its like I just threw the email at the wall, and the GMs in that game were ironically sometimes involved in drama because they played favorites among the users.

With ED if you say something stupid they just shrug it off and give off these korean-vibe emotes. I swear every GM I've interacted with since the server switch has said ">_<" to me.

I love it.

Honestly though, while I feel a divide between the userbase and the developers, I feel like as far as our GM's go, they're trying their butt off and have a decent connection with the userbase when they're around.
On the negative side though our community is the most two faced pile of garbage I've ever seen lol. They'll whine and advocate quitting in game and constantly complain about the Pay2Winers and lack of content in world bird.

Then a GM sends out a world bird and everyone starts falling into line just desperate for GM validation and their opinions take a complete 180.

The GMs aren't the problem IMO, the devs suck and as a userbase, we suck.
