Usually I try to stay pretty positive about this stuff, but honestly these events have been less than "meh" lately. Good events would be ones where we are encouraged to PLAY THE GAME while also getting something WORTH THE EFFORT for doing so. While the forum events are appreciated, it's not helping the active population at all because A) A small percentage of the already small population doesn't go on the forums and B) They are usually contests with only 3 winners or less that take MASSIVE effort, or contests that only require a quick post on the forums for a participation prize. These kinds of events don't encourage people to play the game at all while simultaneously giving medicore rewards.

If ED were to host decent events, I think it would greatly improve the hemorrhaging player base as it would give us something to do between updates. Personally I've gotten to the point where I'm just logging in for 30 seconds to check the marketplace and grab the attendance gift.

actually this idea is very clever by sea since not many of their player can clear rune normal right now. That would be free advertising and giving gear to nub player is a great idea. This NA though nothing is free here, TBH I would take off my clothes run a marathon if NA implement this I highly doubt they would cause selling Golden egg profit them too much.
