Help! New client is failing me!

Every time i try to update the new client it says " Fail copy File" and then "client data error,please reinstall client" which i did like 3 times.... any suggestions???

I had this problem.Try "Run as administrator" this solved the problem for me.

This right here is what I did as well. When in doubt, always run as ADMINISTRATOR. The one thing fixes so many runtime issues.

Right clicking the patcher icon and selecting "run as administrator" worked for me and others against this.

Having a similar problem. Whenever I try to launch it from my desktop (And yes, I run it as an admin) It says this:
Fail to Read Resource Pak
Patch version check failed.
Client data error, please reinstall the client.

So, uh.. what'd I do wrong?

Probably there are some missing files in your dn folder which the setup didn't install for some reason, check if you have all 15 resource files (from 0 to 14). If you do then it must be something else but if have less than 15 you should reinstall the client. This is just my guess.

Alright, so, it doesn't want to launch via the new icon on the desktop, but when I go into the files and select Nexon>Dragon Nest> DN launcher it seems to work alright. The only thing is that once I get in, if I try to either skip the into cutscene or let it playthrough it simply stops responding, where other people were at least able to see the new login scree before being disconnected. Is this normal?

Yeah the servers won't work properly until they are done with the maintanence, and you should try running the newest client as an administrator and see if you get the same results as with the old client, if it works like the old client then you should keep the newest client.

Ok so, First you download the rar aka the new client. Then you extract all of it into a folder. Then you hit setup and install it. Now! After that, you will want to run it in Administrative mode, since it will bypass your firewall since the file itself is not reconzied as anything. It should download then. Dont run the game until they tell us Dragon Nest is back up and running. Or else you will get stuck at the intro screen. I hope this helped because the rest also helped me out. Thank you to everyone!
