what happens to an account when banned?

so I haven't played dn in like a year and when i went to do my pin code it keeps saying incorrect when its been the same consecutive one for the time I played and now when I went to reset it it just says error and wont let me change it so idk whats going on. Anyone know?

Within the last year, there was a server transfer between Nexon and ED, where you had to sign an agreement to transfer your account over to ED. If you did not do this, then your account data was lost, not banned. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover that data, so you will need to create a new account.

If it's the case where you did do that transfer, but you keep entering in the wrong pin code, you're only temporarily locked out. If that happened, then try changing your pincode via the main Dragon Nest website.

I tried that method but whenever I check my email and click the verification link it gives me an error and won't let me proceed, so I am not sure what to do. ;-;
