1. Because gold has always been the most staple form of resource for trading and enhancing items.

2. Gold buying/selling is illegal (Abuse Policy DN-TRD-01)

3. Poor game security. It's not even a bud anymore, because you can no longer use messenger bird without receiving advertisement from gold sites.
