Thoughts and ideas on how to make pvp great again.

Some words that I feel will give good meaning and clarity to everyone (those who havent seen it).
Start of a new era.

What I feel eyedentity should do with the pvp community:

I know it seems early but I really cherish dragon nest and want it to live long and prosper.

Its glory has long since passed and hasnt gotten close to being back to a quarter of what it once was.
Nexon I felt didnt really take pvp suggestions and advise to improve seriously and proof of that was the kinda lackluster support and care we recieved.
It possibly could of been due to some of the stuff they mentioned like eyedentity constantly denying them any form go through on things. But so far
from the effort being shown from eyedentity themselves and words said by gms, I feel nexon was just misleading us and is a greedy host company.

Anywho:

So what id like eyedentity to possibly do is:
Take suggestions from players on how to balance pvp; (games clearly not that balanced, even with a blacklist it doesnt reach ithat point)
Game bugs and problems; (eg. Aerial evade almost consistently failing and netcode issues etc)
Removal of the hostility and toxic behavior; (possibly by giving small bans like other games for griefing. range from 30mins to maybe a max of 1 day?)
Better moderating of the forum; (if they are going to employ player mods, we need mods who wont be bias or let emotions get in the way)

(others can feel free to give ideas and suggestions in this thread too)

My thoughts so far:

I truly hope they will stick with giving 100% this from start to finish and not give a half witty effort in the midlife of the server like nexon did.
So far the amount of effort displayed and care, seems like they too themselves want the game to flourish more then what it is and was.

I can truly say that this server has to be the most passionate of all dn servers and with the right people, ideas and criticism
to the developers could possibly turn this game into a much more enjoyable pvp scene.

My opinions and thought before the server goes live later and I am currently bored hehe.

every competitive game is going to have some toxicity, thats just how it is. ragers cry babies and trolls spice things up a bit anyway, just look at valien. dude is both awful and dumb but the communities vids of him getting swatted are entertaining as hell.

main thing about pvp that needs to be fixed is the lag and glitches, focus on balance when the game is actually working as it was intended to.

Balance the game more, reduce lag, fix the bugs that have been around for years, and don't let a 5 year old handle the coding.

I know it's unavoidable, but the extent of forum toxicity has really got to go. Secondly, having better pvp rewards would be fantastic. We need something like the costumes you get for ranking up but on a larger scale. Ladder needs to have more one-of-a-kind rewards. Finally, the netcode needs to be overhauled. Evades haven't been working as intended for a very long time.

More incentives and reasons for people to pvp apart from medals and average rewards that dont amount to much. I also think they should re-haul the rank system. Not sure why it is the way it is and how exp is farmable.

lastly If the netcode being fixed is too much of a problem for them, would you think a later version of the code should be re-implemented? I specifically have good memories of 24-40 before the servers merged to one and kali was introduced that the lag was acceptable and iframes/aes worked almost 95% of the time.

Pvp rewards rewards rewards! Actually make interesting rewards that are worth playing for besides grinding years to gold rank.

That's my experience too. I'm not sure how feasible it is to re-implement or overhaul the netcode, but it really needs to be done.

1) Remove the lag/glitches. They are one of the reason PVP isn't enjoyable.
2) Balancing out classes. Some classes are so broken in PVP while the other classes are unable to PVP. I am a Destroyer (Mercenary) and I find it really hard to PVP. Or I just suck.
3) Stop increasing CD and DMG scaling into skills for higher cap. Seriously. I can get hit up to 50k with Stomp (Mercenary). I remember Roll Attack was the most broken skill in Mercenary class, but it's alright now.

Overall, I just suck. Thank you.
