So based on the event mechanics,

Event Mechanics

1. Essence of New Sun will be dropped after April 17 update, until May 15 update.

2. Essence of New Sun will be dropped from various stages and Nest as described above.

3. Rewards from a Box of New Sun Essence will be distributed to your special storage, and will be credited account basis.

4. Box of New Sun Essence that has not been claimed during the above period, will be removed from your special storage.


My questions are (if you just happen to know from kDN or other DN servers with similar event):

1.) So this means that only 1 char per account can get it right?

2.) Are these essence of new sun server storageable?

3.) Just wondering if its drop rate is too low? Like is it even possible to do this event? haha

Here's my set of question:

1. Since Jeezus / Varun Goku said that he get those sun stuffs by hardcore grinding at slayer, how many piece of Sun Stuffs are dropped in DN KR?

2. He mentioned that Slayer consumes no FTG, so we can expect some ninja-ed patch tomorrow? (I rather stack up some slayer tickets if this thing happen)

3. As supporting question to #1 & #2, let's say it randomly drops 1-2 piece per Slayer run, would it be halved at DN SEA? (since the total in SEA is 310 while on KR is around 870)

1) ya its per account only 1 char , they will give reward box to open after 1 or 2 week which will have duration until may 15th

2) essence cannot be server storaged ofc xD

3) This is how drop rate was in Korea
Slayer abyss = 1 - 2 essence per run ( dice if party )
Test grounds = 1 per boss ( rng )
DQ Silver / Gold Rabbit = 1
lv95 Norm/ HC/ Hell = 5 per person
Rune 4 man norm/hc = 15 or 25 essence ( sorry forgot )
sorry idk the raid or limit break drop I couldn't clear it

Sea might nerf it to 1 per nest we can only find out after tomorrow patch

4) bonus : Ftg of slayer wont be removed in april , it comes with may machina awakening

Would like clarification if it is possible to choose which character we want to receive the rewards? i.e. I use my main to nest/raid but i want the rewards for my sub

Cmiiw, I think the box is like the "Sealed Farm Box", which u only can get the reward on the char u're using it to farm

Actualy it may be like at the video of Varun, after he open the box the items (or rewards of the box) was put in a server storage like said "Rewards from a Box of New Sun Essence will be distributed to your special storage, and will be credited account basis"

Is there any chance that there will be a nest reset after game patch? because of the up coming event like board game and light your heart with sunlight event that needs clearing some nest, just want clarification on this.

Geraint Necklace is only useful if you have 95L jade. Or else, Refined Genesis or Green Dragon necklace will outpower it.

If the patch note edit was done before the maintenance, then it wasn't a "ninja" patch. A ninja patch is a patch wherein there is no accompanying released note before or after the patch.

This very same event rewarded players with geraint necklace in KDN. And then here at SEA they removed and changed it since we already had that reward from a spending event.
