I have a question. How do they calculate the damage? Was it based on crit damage + FD + element? or does it depend on which is higher?

They are all separate multipliers and work the same way.
ATK * (1 + ele%) * (1 + FD %) * (crit DMG %, assuming all crit).
The only thing you should be concerned about are diminishing returns of stacking a specific stat.Remmystarr from Eden (Discord: Xenocho #8012)
