4gb ram for DN?

will i suffer fps spikes with 4gb ram, assuming the other components are mid tier standard

If you are using Windows 10 4gb ram is not enough.

Edit : If you have at least an i5 a gtx 1050ti then you won't need to worry about fps spikes aside from ch 1 when it's really crowded based on my experience.
