Master-Apprentice Benefits Question

So it is written in the DN help menu that one of the benefits of being a master is the free FTG when in a party with your apprentice.
I tried it but it doesn't work? Is there any other requirements for this to take effect?

It works. But they recently changed that to being 5 free ftg runs daily instead of 20 runs weekly.
