If you top-up using CC do you have to use your old account? or any account would do? ex. I create a new CherryCredits account and use that to transfer CC to EYET

Of course not. Your CC account (the one you use for topup) and your ED account (the one you use for game login) are bound together.

EDIT: I stand corrected. It seems you can use other accounts as well (at least based on other players experience). Though, for some reason, I was only able to topup by using only 1 account.

Afaik, you can use any CC account to top-up.
Just make sure you know the Username/Password (you can't topup without this anyway) and 6-digit PIN (this is important!)

This is how I charged EYET into 3 different ED accounts for the Surprise Event.

I topped-up 60k CC into my Cherry Credits Account A.

I charged 50k EYET into my ED account A using Cherry Account A.
I charged 5k EYET into my ED account B using Cherry Account A.
I charged 5k EYET into my ED account C using Cherry Account A.

That's weird... I can't seem to use any other account, despite having 3 CC accounts and only 1 ED account...

Yeah. Actually that ED account C is my friend's account.
I changed my password and 6-digit pin so I can let him charge using my Cherry Account.

Yep, any CC account can do as long as you have access to it.
