Attack Power vs Main stat?

What is the difference between these two stats? From my understanding it is best to stack STR as a DA until my crit damage reaches 300%. Will there be diminishing returns for my STR stat once my crit damage goes beyond 300%?

300% is the CDMG cap. Any value beyond the CDMG cap value will be worthless.

IMO, stacking STR for CDMG isn't good. Heraldries for example give bigger flat CDMG 3rd stat than using STR 3rd stat. Stat-stacking in the current meta is garbage as you can stack CDMG itself with higher gold-to-value ratio. There are some exceptions, but in my observation the above statement is mostly accurate.

As a DA you will always want raw attack power/cdmg rather than STR as additional stat for talisman/jades/heraldry.

Yes, there will always be 'diminishing return' for stacking FD,cdmg, atk%, elem% (everything that is additive rather than multiplicative) etc. at higher and higher values.

Wot? This isnt means stacking STR tho. Stacking STR means pumping STR on every items with 2nd stat for STR.
